About the event
Born from Quacks, Sheffield’s monthly queer open mic night, Worms in Progress gives comedians the space to burrow beyond quick 5-minute sets, dig deep, and unearth ideas into something bigger. Some jokes will be fully formed, others will still be wriggling into shape - but that’s all part of the fun.
Expect fertile ground for fresh punchlines, earthy observations, and a few unexpected detours (because even the best-planned sets can get a little wormy). Whether it’s hilariously unhinged or unexpectedly brilliant, one thing’s for sure: you’ll be part of the process.
Come for the laughs, stay for the chaos (and off-the-cuff moments that might never happen again), and support Sheffield’s growing queer comedy scene!
